Florence (Flossie) Vrocher Gomez passed peaceful on May 1, 2024 of natural causes. Her life spanned a full century of love and devotion to her family. She gifted to that family a multitude of lessons in kindness, perseverance, resilence, patience and generosity.
She was preceded in death by two husbands - Diamond Vrocher, Sr. and Frank F Gomez, by two sons, Diamond Vrocher, Jr. and John T. Vrocher, and other family members.
She is survived by three children, Barbara 'Tiny' Lane, Clarence 'Clancy' Vrocher and Melissa 'Missy' Ensley, two step-daughters, Victorine 'Vicky' Gomez Hughes and Carla Gomez Moyulet and by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Of significant note is her granddaughter Amber Vrocher Wyatt who cared for her during her final days with the love, kindness and patience that Florence taught her family.
