Nancy Covin, born on October 4, 1944 in Fairford, Alabama and a long time resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, October 3, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chandler and Izona Weaver; husband, Joseph Covin; sisters, Mary, Dortha, Hazel, Pauline; grandson, Tatum.
She is survived by sisters, Nell Williams, Lena Weaver, Jewel Richards, Delores Roesch; daughter, Kelly (Rhett) Butler; son, Brandon Duiett; grandchildren, Tyler, Angel, Jordan, Astoria, and Ashton; great-grandchildren, Madison, Ethan, Kyler, Cooper,Gracie Jo. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who also loved her greatly.
She loved her family and friends get-togethers, antiques, chocolate candy, and shopping. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be Wednesday October 7,2020, from 9am to 10am in the chapel at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 10am from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with interment to follow.
