Ollie Sauls Clark was born on August 25th 1928 in St. Augustine, Florida. She passed away in her home in Irvington, Alabama surrounded by her devoted and loving family and started her new journey to heaven on December 19th 2018 where she was met at the Gates of Heaven by her mother Ollie Sauls, her husband Claude Young Clark Jr. (Junior), granddaughter, Dale Leigh Sellers, Daughter in law Susan Marss Rogers Clark, Grandson in law Jeremy Wheeler as well as her loving brother, sisters and other family and friends. They led her through the gates of heaven where she was transformed to the young and beautiful woman that she was with no more pain or worry. Ollie resided and worked most of her young life in Thunderbolt, GA and Savannah, GA. After her marriage to Claude, she also resided for a short period in Key West, Florida, Bayou la Batre, AL eventually settling down in Irvington, AL as her final place of residence for over 45 years. Ollis’s greatest accomplishment was that of her love and devotion to raising her family. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Bayou la Batre and the Methodist Church of Georgia. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, The Simply Singles as well as The Garden Club. Ollie leaves behind four devoted children, Susan Clark Sellers (Dale), Steven Young Clark (Kristi), Stacey Clark Massey (Kenny) and Shelley Bernice Clark as well as 5 loving grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 10 am. Burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
