Mrs. Patricia Ann Perkins, age 88, of Mobile AL, passed away on November 8, 2025. Born in 1937, in Andalusia AL, Patricia was the daughter of W.H. and Era Mae Dickens. After graduating from Vigor High School, she married James Perkins of Prichard in 1955 at Ninth Street Baptist Church, which began a devoted union that would span seven decades. Known affectionately as Pat, her life was dedicated to her family and faith. As a devoted and very capable homemaker and longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mobile, she found purpose and joy through her involvement in her family's activities, her Sunday School class, and the Senior Adult group. Her willing and helpful spirit really shone when supporting her husband's and children's pursuits such as fishing, camping, and even ball games - especially Alabama's - Roll Tide! She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Farrell Ray “Bud” Dickens Pat is lovingly remembered by her husband James; their three children: Karen (Gary) Hicks of Fairhope, Janet Perkins of Mobile, and James Perkins Jr. (Jennifer Gibney) of Mobile; 2 grandchildren, also great grandchildren; and other cherished relatives in Alabama, Georgia, and Texas. Her funeral service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Saturday, November 15. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. followed by the service at noon led by Pastor Rocky Pugh.
