Patricia Ann Salamone departed from this life on the evening of May 24th, 2020. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
She was a loving and generous sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. Patricia was a native Californian who resided the majority of her life in Mobile where she dedicated her life to serving others as an RN at Knollwood Hospital. After retirement from nursing, she continued working in the health care profession inside both USA Knollwood and Mobile Infirmary Hospital. Throughout her professional career, she served in multiple capacities and touched many people. Outside of work, Patricia and her husband Pete attended St. Luke’s Episcopal Church where they were both active in outreach and parish life. Patricia’s family was the source of her greatest joy and her biggest accomplishment. She deeply cherished and enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones. Her radiant smile and unique passion for life cultivated a family full of immense personality and love. The support and encouragement she provided to her children and grandchildren will be passed on for generations.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Peter and her brother Bob Flentye.
Among those cherishing her memory are children; Greg (Lisa) Koller of Peachtree City, GA. Matt Koller of Roswell, GA. Ronnie (Rusty) Hardy of Mobile, AL. Grandchildren; Brooke (Henry) Erricker, Megan Koller, Alexandria Hardy, Ryan Koller, and Christian Hardy. Siblings; Richard Flentye of Arizona, Chris Flentye of Idaho, Frank Flentye of California, and Fred Flentye of California. Cherished Yorkie; Muffin.
The love and light Patricia poured into the world will be missed by many more friends and family. There will be a family service held on May 30, 2020, to celebrate her life.
