Ralph H. Evans, Sr., 80, born February 19, 1939 in Nola, MS., passed away on July 15, 2019 at his residence in Saraland, AL. Mr. Evans was a member of I.B.E.W. Local Union 505 for 60 years. He was an avid Alabama Fan (Roll Tide). An outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and water sports, a great fisherman his passion was spending time on the water fishing, he loved bream fishing. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Lynn; sisters, Jan, Faye and Minnie; a brother, Glynn and his parents, John and Velta Evans. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife, Harriette, 3 sons, Ralph, Jr., (Diane), Frankie (Candy) and Scotty; a sister Gwen Rowe; six grandchildren, Sarah, Scotty, Hannah, Peyton, John Taylor and Brandon; 1 great grandson Stellan who called him POP. The family gives their heartfelt thanks to Southern Hospice for their wonderful care for the 2 angels they sent to help him, Amberley Tanner and Rene French. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. service time at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with an interment following in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, AL.
