Ralph J Hosford
September 10, 1937 - April 27, 2019
Ralph was a very loving and devoted husband to his wife, Sadie for 55 years before her passing in 2014. He was a loving and devoted father as well as a grandfather and great-grandfather. There was nothing in this world that was more important to him than his family. He loved spending as much time as he could with "his girls" and "his great-grands". He loved watching them grow and making as many memories, home movies and taking as many pictures as possible. He never wanted to let a great moment pass without a keepsake of that exact moment. Ralph was a great man and kind to everyone he met. He was a man who always found new hobbies to keep himself busy with, but the one hobby that he never stopped doing was photography. He loved to take pictures! He was a very selfless man and he always let "his girls" know how much he loved them. Ralph is a Papaw that will be missed beyond measure...
Ralph was a lifetime native of Mobile. He was preceded in death by his wife (Sadie A Hosford), his mother (Nellie L Hosford), his father (William M Hosford), his sons (Ralph J Hosford Jr)(Raymond "Lester" Hosford), and all of his brothers and his sister. He is survived by his 3 grandaughters, Alicia A Black, Terri L Snider (Joey Snider), and Tiffany L Huff (Timmy Huff), his 10 great-grandchildren, Dylan Snider (20), Dalton Snider (17), Kate-Lynn Deakle (15), Dawson Snider (14), Natalee Hosford (13), Tristan Huff (8), Weston Black (7), Ryker Huff (2), Kensley Snider (8 months), and Clara Huff (2 months), along with many nieces and nephews as well as his fur-baby Ellie Mae.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, 05/01/2019 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
