Our loving father Raymond Orr passed away. As many knew him, Ray Orr was an avid Alabama fan that never ventured away from the television on game days. He was the recliner referee and that’s where you found him on Roll Tide Days. He went through many recliners throughout his lifetime because of game day fits.
When Ray wasn’t watching Alabama football he was arguing with his family about something. He loved to be right. The family enjoyed allowing him to feel like he was right after giving him a battle of words. As we call it, it’s the Orr way of life. Nonetheless, our dad loved spending time with family and stressed it’s importance.
When Ray wasn’t arguing or watching Alabama football he was enjoying his 65 Malibu SS. It was his baby and needed to be perfect. Many car shows were attended and many were won. He enjoyed old cars and the people that attended the shows.
Raymond Orr Jr. died, at age 66. He was born to Raymond Orr Sr and Lydia Brook on May 30, 1954. He passed away on February 9, 2021. He is survived by his son Daniel Orr (Joshua Hernandez), his daughter Kellie Robertson (Mike Robertson), three grandchildren Kirsten, Kaiden and Kinsley, sister Charlotte Sanders and brothers Bruce Orr and Tony Orr and countless nieces and nephews.
