Rebecca Anne Tomberlin Lawrence – a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama died Saturday, February 29, 2020 in a local hospital. Anne was a member of Little Flower Catholic Parish and was a graduate of Davidson High School where she played softball, volleyball and was a member of the band. She was a diehard Alabama sports fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Montgomery Tomberlin, Sr. and Mary Rebecca Hughes Tomberlin. Anne is survived by her husband of 30 years, Allison D. “Al” Lawrence, III; her faithful lab, Tucker; three brothers, Robert Montgomery “Robbie” (Jill) Tomberlin, Jr., Douglas Earl (Dianna) Tomberlin, and David Hughes (Kristi) Tomberlin; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Allison D. “Al” & Geralyn “Jeri” Lawrence; her nephews and nieces, Evan Tomberlin, Claire Tomberlin, Cole Tomberlin, Casey Tomberlin, Payton Tomberlin, and Caroline Tomberlin; and other relatives. Visitation will be from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Little Flower Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 A.M. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church, 2053 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A church service will be held at 10am on Saturday, 03/07/2020 from Little FLower Catholic Church, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
