Richard Lee Baithis, Beloved husband of Minnie Burge Laird Balthis, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2024 at The Retreat Hospice in Mobile Alabama after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease.
Richard was born on August 16, 1954 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He had a passion for rock and roll music, especially Creedence Clearwater Revival. Before he retired, he worked as a graphics artist at various business printing companies.
Richard was predeceased by his mother Eleanor Balthis Mincher, father Russell Forrest Balthis Jr, brother Russell Forrest Balthis III, and sister Barbara Balthis Hicks.
Richard is survived by his wife Minnie Burge Laird Balthis, nephew Russell Forest Baithis IV and nieces Lindsay Balthis Carpenter, Laura Hicks Nelson, and Kathleen Hicks Strecker.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, family, and everyone else who knew him.
