Richard Leroy Davis - an 86-year-old native of Mobile and resident of Saraland passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Mr. Davis retired from International Paper Company after 43 years of service. He was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Chickasaw and the Blackwell Masonic Lodge in Satsuma. Mr. Davis was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed bird hunting, shrimping, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Todd Ted Davis, and Lillian Rhodey Davis; brothers, Milton Todd Davis, Sr., and Dr. Jack D. Davis; and sister, Beverly Luker. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife of 68 years, Viola "Nell" Davis; sons, Richard Todd Davis, and Ronald "Ron" Douglas Davis; granddaughter, Layla Nicole McDonald (Tucker); great-grandchildren, Maddi McDonald, Emersyn McDonald, and Davis McDonald; other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held from Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 9-11 a.m. Graveside services and interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Mike Ballard officiating.
