A native of Mobile, AL and resident of Theodore, AL died on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the age of 71. Mr. Ramsay was a veteran of Vietnam (69-70) with the United States Army. He was also a member of the 458th PBR's, Sea Tigers, American Legion Post 250, American Legion Post Denton Drake 88. He was with the Mobile County School Board Transportation for 18 1/2 years. He was a graduate of Theodore High School (1967). He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Raymond Ramsay. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lorene Glover Ramsay; three children, Raymond (Tina) Ramsay, Beverly Williams Ramsay and Frances Ramsay; five grandchildren, Donna (Clifford) Harris, Gabrielle Ramsay, Dustin (Rena Moody) Ramsay, Nicole Ramsay and Nathan Ramsay; great grandson, Weston Ramsay; brother, Thomas (Helen) Ramsay. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, 01/08/2020 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
