Riley Franklin Trimm, Jr., 89, known to most as Frank, died Monday, March 2, 2020, at his home in Mobile, AL. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Born in Whistler, AL he lived in the area until moving to Atlanta to train as a radiology technician. After meeting and marrying Agnes (deceased in 2007), they moved to Birmingham, AL where he was the administrative officer of the radiology department at the VA Medical Center for over 40 years until his retirement. He served in the Navy and Army reserves in addition to his work. He and Agnes were active members and leaders of the Birmingham First Seventh-day Adventist Church until moving to Mobile, AL in 1998 to be closer to their grandchildren. Frank enjoyed a long and active retirement. He really loved golfing, playing 2-3 times a week for many years. He also enjoyed people. He had a smile and often a funny comment or two for everyone.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Carolyn (Bill) Anderson, and his son, Franklin (Robert Koch) Trimm; two grandchildren, Angelina McBride and Riley (Meghan) Trimm IV; four grandchildren, Bernadette Trimm, Eliza Trimm, Kaiden Trimm, and Destiny McBride; a brother Ben (Joan) Trimm; several nieces, a nephew, and several great-nephews; and his special friend, Ann Moore.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2020, from 9:00 -10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

A chapel service will be held at 10am on Friday, 03/06/2020 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
