Robert “Bob” Louis Cooper, 83 was born June 22, 1938 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Neely and Ethel Long Cooper. He was called to his Heavenly home July 12, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. Bob was retired from Mobile County Revenue Commissioners office following twenty-five years of dedicated services. He was an avid photographer. Bob was a devoted Husband, Dad and Pop. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and a twin brother; William Cooper. Left to cherish Bob’s wonderful memories will be his beloved wife of twenty years; Arlette Cooper, one son; David Cooper and wife Heather, two step-sons: Todd McNorton and wife Pam, Brad McNorton, one sister-in-law; Mary White, one nephew; Mathew Cooper and wife Bonnie, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and numerous friends. Memorials may be made in honor of Robert Louis Cooper to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 800-805-5856, stjude.org, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude towards the S.A.A.D.’s Hospice Group, Dr. Martin Lester and Dr. Galeas for the professional care and compassion provided. Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 16, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with Father Prabhu Arockiasamy officiating under the direction of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Mobile Memorial Garden Cemetery.
