Robert Wayne Glenn, age 83, of Spanish Fort, AL passed away on December 23, 2023. Wayne was born January 25, 1940 in Meridian, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Lewis Glenn and Lonnie Glenn and his brother, Lonnie D. Glenn. Wayne was a graduate of Vigor High School and earned a B.S. in Business Management from Troy University.
Wayne was Distribution Manager at Honeywell UOP and retired with 42 years of service. Wayne had a full enjoyable life. He coached Dixie Youth Baseball and was an avid fisherman in Mobile Delta and Gulf of Mexico. He fished in the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo for many years. Wayne loved visiting his children, playing Spades with friends, and traveling to more than 40 countries with his wife and children. He was a devoted Crimson Tide sports fan. He was a member of Spanish Fort United Methodist Church.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rora Lynn Fleming Glenn of Spanish Fort, daughter Vicki G. Smith (Scott), of Plano, TX; son, Robert W. Glenn, Jr. (Daphne) of Mason, Ohio; son Steven W. Glenn (Jeremy Atencio) of Denver, CO; 4 grandsons, Brandon Smith, Jason Smith, Ryan Smith, Robert W. Glenn III; 1 granddaughter, Kaylie Glenn; sister Sherrill G. Watts of Douglas GA, brother Larry M. Glenn (Judy) of Denver, CO, brother-in-law Joel A. Fleming (Pamela), nieces and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 12 o'clock at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
