Robert Frank Hill, Sr., age 76, of Mobile, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Hill retired after over 35 years with the Mobile Fire Department as District 3 Chief. He was passionate about his career and helping those in need. He enjoyed reading and studying the Bible, watching countless pastors on YouTube, and continuing his life of service by contributing to various charitable organizations. His loss will be heavily felt by his family as well as the entire community. He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Hill and parents, Harvey and Miriam Hill. Survivors include his daughter, Karen Steadham and husband, Allen; son, Darin Hill and wife, Dawn; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Billy Hill and wife, Ann; and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 28, 2020, from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Faircloth officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

A chapel service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, 12/29/20 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home followed by a committal service at the grave site.
