Robert served in the United States Marines from 1953-1959. He was an avid Ham radio operator and a Mason, Shriner for over 50 years. You could always find him tinkering with cars and his computers. He loved animals, which included his over 20 cats that were his biggest fans; waiting each morning for him to come out to feed and pet them. He was full of so much knowledge and looked up to by so many.
He is survived by his only daughter, Pam (Tiger Curtis, 2 Grandchildren, Tiffany Woods and Zack Davis. 3 Great-Grandchildren, Jackson, Avery and Maverick. He is also survived by his brother, Frankie Wendell Erdman.
Born July 22, 1933, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 89 years old
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home located at 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL 36619. Visitation will be followed by a Graveside service at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
