Rodney Joseph Garcia, Sr., a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, November 8, 2019 at the age of 77. He was a US Air Force Veteran and a member of the Bromeliad Society. He was an Instrument Technician for Scott Paper Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Garcia and Vivian Josephine Haag Garcia and his brother, Wayne Garcia. His survivors include his son, Rodney Joseph (Marsha) Garcia, Jr.; two daughters, Rhonda (Nelson) Ramos and Kathy Jean (Steve) Rush. He is also survived by one sister, Sandra Garcia Mitchell; six grandchildren, Adam and Aaron Garcia, Aida Alyssa and Nelson Harrison Ramos, and Madison and Logan Rush; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
