Roselle Lee Twilley was called to Heaven by her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 10, 2020.
Born in Semmes, AL on January 30, 1925, she was a lifetime resident of Mobile and Baldwin counties. She was a long-time member of Kingswood United Methodist Church and later Christ United Methodist Church. A cosmetologist by profession, she was the previous owner of Roselle’s Hair Fashions on Cottage Hill Road. She loved flowers, cooking, and dancing at Mardi Gras balls. The “Umbrella Dance” was one of her favorites.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Twilley; father, Walter W. Lee; mother, Mattie Powell Lee; brothers, Claude Lee and Johnny Lee; sisters, Bessie Corley, Willie Lee, Ethel Stringer, Eula Mae Melton, Gertrude Johnson, and Barbara Jean Pfister.
She is survived by her sister, Jo Bryant, Birmingham, Al; son, Ron Twilley (Glinda), Panama City, FL; daughter, Susan Twilley Fox (Monty); four grandsons, Charles E. Twilley (Bekah), Griffin, GA, Taylor Twilley (Brenda), Locust Grove, GA, Mathew Fox, Fairhope, AL, and Michael Fox, Daphne, AL; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, January 14, 2020 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Charles E. Twilley, Taylor Twilley, Matthew Fox, Michael Fox, Austill Crabtree, and Marty Lawshe, with Jerry Johnson and William E. Walley, Jr. serving as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to Wings of Life, 800 Saint Louis Street, Mobile, AL. 36602.

A chapel service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, 01/14/2020 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
