Samuel Jacoby, a long time resident of Mobile, was born on June 22nd, 1966 and passed on May 5th, 2023. Samuel attended MARC for many years. He was also part of Snap Bowling for many years and attended Christ United Methodist Church Joy Service. He loved coloring, playing with blocks, and puzzles. Above all he loved to play pranks. His laughter and personality were contagious. He kept you on your toes, and with his sweetest soul, he wrapped you around his finger. He was loved by all and gave the best bear hugs.
He is preceded by; Father, Samuel Jacoby; Mother, Mary Francis Jacoby; And Brother, Donald R. Cobb.
He is survived by; Nieces, Kaye Nelson (guardian) of Mobile, Marianne Dickson of Mobile, and Carolyn Collins of Mobile; Nephews, Donald (Donnie) R. Cobb of North Carolina, and Dennis Bradley of Saraland; Uncle, Clarence (Roy) Collum of Mobile; Sister-in-law, Vivian Dale Cobb; Many great nieces and great nephews; As well as present and past Mulherin caregivers, Camp Smile family, and Snap Bowling family.

Visitation for Sammy will be held from 9 A.M. on May 12th at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. I had the honor of being Sammie’s hospice nurse. He always brightened my day even if he would trick me into going outside to avoid nap time or throw a block at me because I didn’t pay attention immediately to him! Thank you, Kay for sharing your sweet Sammie with all of us.
