Samuel Renfroe, 88, beloved Father, was called to his eternal resting place on August 29, 2020. He entered this world on November 6, 1931 in Mobile, Alabama, born to Samuel and Eunice Renfroe. He is survived by his sons Lonnie (Debbie) Renfroe and Charles (Katrina) Renfroe, his daughter Laurie Renfroe Dungan, his grandchildren Miranda Ott, Taylor Renfroe, Emily Dailey and Lydia Renfroe, his step-grandson Robert Matthews and his great grand children Noelle Ott, Jonas Ott and Bethany Rose Ott. Sam retired from Mobile Gas Company. Sam served in the Army Reserves. He was an avid Alabama football fan and was a past member of the Red Elephant Club. He enjoyed fishing and bird hunting. He was a consummate gardener with a passion for roses. He won numerous regional awards for his lovely roses. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren which he took much pride and joy in. His graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, September 11 at 10:00 in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
