Sandra J. Maloney was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother. She passed from this life on January 14, 2022 at the age of 83.
Sandra was born to Floyd and Delorise Wheeler in Haverhill, Massachusetts on
December 19, 1938. After graduating from high school, Sandra married her
husband, John J. Maloney in Amesbury Town, Massachusetts on December 20,
1958. Together they had four sons and she is lovingly known as Mémé by her
grandchildren.
In addition to being a wife, mother and homemaker, Sandra enjoyed her career
working in the airline industry. She was baptized on April 6, 1963 at the Church
of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini in Los Angeles, CA. She always enjoyed watching
football and after moving to Mobile, AL, she became a loyal Crimson Tide fan.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Delorise; her siblings:
Marjorie, Clyde, Claire, Theo, and Leslie; and her son Jon "Jay" Maloney.
She is survived by her sons: Mark (Kari), Chris (Pam), and Jim (Linda); and her
grandchildren: Eric, Joshua, Steven, Ryan, Jacob, Sean, Mary-Ashley and James; as
well as her great-grandchild Raegan Jo and her best friend and sister-in-law
Dianne Brown, as well as other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 11 am on January 20, 2022 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and the funeral service is scheduled for 12 noon with graveside service to follow
