Sandra “Sandy” Johnson Rehm, age 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Born August 22, 1956, to George and Joyce Johnson, she spent most of her childhood in Virginia Beach, VA, before moving to Mobile. She graduated from Davidson High School in 1975 and enjoyed a 32-year career at Premiere Health, where her love for serving others was fulfilled.
Sandy had a beautiful, kind heart that touched the lives of many and reflected her deep love for Jesus Christ. She was devoted to spending time with her family and was adored greatly by her children and grandchildren. An avid lover of nature, she enjoyed running, biking, and trips to the beach. She was a former member of the Port City Pacers and Christ United Methodist Church. Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, 1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now these things remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love.”
Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Kerry Rehm; brothers Steve (Gloria), Keith (Tracey) and Richard; sister-in-law Debra (Jim), brothers- in-law David (Janice), Robert (Wren), and Paul (Pam); her daughter Amy Adams Jacobs and son Daniel Adams; beloved grandchildren Dylan Hiltz, David Jacobs, Harper Jacobs, and Alyson Esterson; and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father George Johnson and her sister-in-law Annette Rehm.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Thakur, Dr. Persing, and Dr. Gilbert, as well as the staff at USA Mitchell Cancer Institute and Saad Hospice Retreat for their extraordinary and compassionate care.
