http://Sara Frances Chancellor Odom passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday November 13, 2022. She was a native of Louisville, MS born January 16, 1934. Sara was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Robert Wesley Odom, Sr., her brother James Chancellor, her sister Joan Chancellor Neece, her daughter-in-law Tammy Odom, and her parents James Howard Chancellor and Marie Chancellor. She is survived by her son Robert Wesley Odom, JR and her daughter Pamela Odom (Bryan) Crippen, her grandchildren Chad Warren Crippen, Kyle Wesley (Morgan) Crippen, Anna Marie Crippen, and Katherine Marie (Alycia) Ashe and her great grandchildren Sara Marie Crippen, Kaylee Weaver, and many nieces and nephews. For over 30 years, Sara worked in the mortgage business in the Mobile area. She was a faithful member of Cottage Hill Baptist for over 45 years where she spent many happy times volunteering in the church library and calling weekly all of the members on her Sunday school phone tree list. Sara also enjoyed cheering on her Atlanta Braves, Alabama football, word puzzles, and reading. Most importantly she took care of her family and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Services for Sara Odom will be held at 10AM Saturday, November 19 at Mobile Memorial Gardens with a visitation from 9:00AM-10:00AM.
