Stephen Joseph McCaghren passed away October 25, 2022 at the age of 70. He is survived by one daughter Meghan McCaghren (Jason Teel), One grandson Christian Teel, one brother Gerald (Janis) McCaghren, one sister Carol (Danny) Reynolds, two nephews Lauren McCaghren, Michael Parker, two nieces Ashley Alldredge, Heather McCaghren Moorhead, and other family and friends. Steve was born in Mobile and moved to Oklahoma in 1967. Following graduation from Midwest City High School he joined the U.S. Navy. He lived in Gainesville, Florida where he was employed at the V.A. Hospital and returned to Mobile in 1996. He was an animal lover and enjoyed fishing and hunting, model rockets, watching movies and football. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to a charity of your choice. Graveside service will be held in the mausoleum at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery on December the 7th at 10:00 AM.
