Susan Armour Williams, 82, of Madison, AL, passed away on October 9, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1942, in Mobile, AL, to Rev. Samuel David and Myrtle Armour. Susan’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her husband, Loyd (Tommy) Williams, and cherished her twin daughters, Heather (Greg) Lozano and Kerry (Peter) Alexander, as well as her sons, Bruce (Tami) Williams and Jeff (Tanya) Williams. Her heart overflowed with joy as she embraced her role as a grandmother to Eric and Steven Lozano.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Samuel, and Myrtle Armour; her sisters, Clara Mae Wood, Doris Kempner, and Mildred Fidler; her brothers, Samuel Armour II, and Reese Armour; and daughter, Kathleen Williams. Susan’s life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and generosity. She touched the lives of countless relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Her unwavering support, unwavering loyalty, and unwavering presence during both joyful and challenging times will forever be remembered. Susan had a successful career as a Marketing Director and Contracting Specialist. She obtained a bachelor's degree from Troy University and a master’s degree from Auburn University, showcasing her dedication to her education and professional growth. Outside of her career, Susan had a passion for gardening, Porsches, and spoiling her pet Doberman. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity and love for nature and animals. Susan worshipped at The Brook Church in Madison, AL. Her faith played an important role in her life, providing her with guidance and strength. A funeral service to honor Susan’s life will be held at The Brook Church in Madison, AL, October 17, 2024. Visitation will be from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM and service will be held at 3:30 PM. Susan will be buried in Mobile, AL at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. There will be a graveside service for family on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
