Tammye Gayle Jernigan Clark, age 61, of Mobile, passed away at her home on January 15, 2023. She was born July 18, 1961 in Mobile, Al to the late Clarence Earl Jernigan and Francis Holmes Jernigan. Tammye graduated from the University of Mobile with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She was employed at Springhill Medical Center for 39 years as a Labor and Delivery RN. Tammye loved family outings, shopping, vacation, and over-cuddling Napoleon!
She is preceded in death by her son, Tucker Ray Clark; by her parents, Clarence Jernigan, and Francis Jernigan; and by her aunt Gayle Walker.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Terrill Ray Clark; her daughter, Tiffany Ryan Clark; her brother, Clarence Earl "Buddy" Jernigan (Penny); by her brother, Larry A. Jernigan (Betty); by her sister, Sheree Lynn Jernigan; and Numerous nieces and nephews: Stella Clark and Angela "Sissy" Tompkins, Donnie Lee Clark (Vickie), Sandra Clark (Jeff), and Glenn Clark.

Services will be held Friday, January 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial in the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers for Mrs. Clark will be Terrill Tay Clark, Donnie Lee Clark, Michael Jordan, Danny Garner, Joel Jernigan, and Nick Bailey. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or SPCA.
