Teresa Paulette DiGiulio Guarino, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away in her home on July 5, 2019, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 87. Born in Chicago Illinois on August 5, 1931, Teresa was a lifelong devout Catholic. She was a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church and served on their bereavement committee. She was a member of the Jubilee Club and the Italian American Club. She was a voracious reader and liked working Jumbles. She loved to cook and bake with and for her family and friends, watching old classic movies, and making trips to the casino. But most of all, she treasured spending time with her family. Mrs. Guarino was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Sylvia Cefalu DiGiulio and her brothers, Vincent J. DiGiulio and Louis P. DiGiulio. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband whom she married on August 11, 1951, Michael Angelo Guarino; her children, Lea Guarino (Michael) Molyneux, Sylvia Guarino (Robert) Clements and Joseph Paul (Lisa) Guarino; her grandchildren, Michelle Molyneux (Evan) Monckton, Jessica Molyneux (Gjuro) Bruer, Michael Gregory (Maury) Molyneux and Caroline Grace Molyneux; her great grandchildren, Lea Gregory Monckton, Wells Michael Monckton, and Anne Louise Monckton; and her two great grandsons which are on the way; and her numerous relatives and many, many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, Mobile, Alabama. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
A church service will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday, 07/10/2019 from St. Dominic's Catholic Church, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
