Teresita C Chesterfield, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on July 6, 2023, in Grand Bay, Alabama. She was born on May 8, 1946, in Belize City, Belize. Teresita adored her family and dedicated her life to their happiness and well-being.
Teresita's journey on earth was filled with love and warmth. She embodied the true spirit of a dedicated wife and mother, whose faith was an integral part of her life.
Teresita is survived by her loving husband, Toby Chesterfield; children, Tracelyn (Paul) Ruffin, Deborah (Kevin) Steege, Leonard (Rachael) Pasos, Johnny (Dawn) Chalk, Mandy (Paula) Pasos; sister, Lola Villanueva; grandchildren, Jason, Blakely, Cassidy, and Lindsey Ruffin, Morgan and Dewey Manning, Priscilla, Paris, Antonio, David Pasos, Eric and Dillon Chalk, and Selena Baird; and a host of great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Megan Manning; brothers, Henry and Junior Marfil.
Teresita C Chesterfield leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and grace. She will forever be remembered as an incredible wife, mother, and friend. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
As we gather to honor Teresita's life, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives. Though she may no longer be by our side, her spirit will guide and inspire us forever. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that she made a profound impact on those she loved so dearly.

A visitation will be held in Teresita's honor on July 11, 2023, starting at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Grand Bay, Alabama. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share their fondest memories of this remarkable woman. Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the same location from12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. In this solemn ceremony filled with love and remembrance, we will celebrate Teresita's extraordinary life and bid her farewell. A commital service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery following her funeral mass.
