Thelma Rosalie Ohr Palmer passed away peacefully, with family, on November 22, 2023 at the age of 94. Thelma was born in Bayou La Batre Alabama, the youngest of eight, with a large extended family, grew up in Biloxi Mississippi, married in 1954 then moved and resided in Mobile and Semmes Alabama. Thelma is the granddaughter of George E. Ohr, Potter of Biloxi. She is proceeded in death by her husband Robert Elbert Palmer. Thelma is survived by her daughter Charlotte Perdue (Ron), son Paul Palmer (Melanie); grandchildren Christopher Perdue (Angelique), Lauren Fay Perdue, Luke Palmer; great grandchildren Jude Perdue and Scarlett Perdue. Thelma loved to travel with family, friends and church. She never met a stranger and enjoyed game day with friends. There were many pets that passed through her door, Mr Cat was the latest. Thelma loved the Bible, knew it well and always kept it handy. She was an active churchgoer and was currently attending St John United Methodist Church. She will be greatly missed!!

Visitation is Saturday December 2, 2023 from 11:00 to 12:00 noon. Chapel service will be at noon, with graveside following. Everyone is invited to reception at St John United Methodist Church
Thelma was such an incredible person to have the privilege to know. She will truly missed. Hugs and prayers to all of the family.
Mrs. Thelma was a very sweet lady. She always had smile for everyone. She will be greatly missed.
