He is preceded in death by his parents Roger Nunn and Brenda Bannister, beloved grandmother Bobbie Jean Griffitt, and father-in-law William E. Orso. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Deana Orso Nunn, whom he adored and cherished. Together they raised four amazing children: Daughters Breana (Roger) Dodson, Alyssa (Daniel) Eiland, and sons William (Sumerlynn) and Samuel. He is also survived by his sister Lesley (George) Richardson, mother and father-in-law Jeff and Sandra Monson, his sisters-in-law Amber (Jason) Coggin and Nikki Allen. He was loved dearly by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends. Pallbearers for Thomas are: George Richardson, Jerry “Boogie” Tew, Jr., Jason Coggin, Stephan Frank, Theo Blankenship, Bobby Umbarger, and John Ratliff.
Thomas was a faithful member of Crawford Baptist Church where he served in the nursery and RAs. Trusting in Jesus Christ as his Savior, he spent his time as a giver and a nurturer to those he loved. He was also a beloved member of the Semmes Community where he touched many lives as a football and baseball coach. Thomas loved Alabama football, NASCAR, and spending time in the yard with his boys. He was a dedicated employee at Evonik as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for 20 years.

Funeral services will be held from Crawford Baptist Church, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 12 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
