Tommy Moody (PaPa) passed away peacefully on July 1, 2023, at the age of 80 in Mobile, AL.   He was born on November 8, 1942, in Mobile, AL.   He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marie Williams Moody; his daughter Angela (Frankie) Bonner; his four favorite grandchildren that he numbered #1-4, Taylor (Justin) Dixon, Samantha (Jake) Wasdin, John (Taylor) Bonner and Natalie Ann Bonner; many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents Oliver T. and Marjorie Moody; brother, Talmadge Moody and daughter, Stephanie Ann Moody.   Tommy graduated in 1961 from Vigor High School. After serving 8 years in the United States Army Reserves, he began his 50 plus year career with the Local 112 Boilermakers Union.   Tommy has a passion for fishing, golfing and making everyone laugh. He also held a membership in the Mobile Masonic Organization for over 50 years.   The family would like to thank all of the staff who lovingly cared for him at Covenant Hospice.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 9:30 am until the 11:00 am service time at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Daniel Blaylock will be officiating.
