Thomas Larry McConnell. Born on August 9, 1951 in Mobile, Alabama, passed away Tuesday October 12, 2021 after a brief illness. A resident of Grand Bay, Alabama, Larry was a 1969 Graduate of Theodore High School, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He had a long career in the construction industry, and was the owner along with his sons of multiple businesses in the Mobile area. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, and spending time with family. His greatest love was for his family; his faith and his family were the most important things in his life. The family would like to thank the nurses and physicians at Springhill Medical Center, who took such professional and compassionate care of our dad.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Linda Katherine McConnell, his mother Lanell McConnell, children Ben Casey McConnell, Michael Chance McConnell (Meghan), Hayden Griffin (Stacey), Sharon Siebert, grandchildren Kirsten Griffin, Justin Griffin, Chad Siebert, Britney Siebert, Taylor Siebert, Mary Beth McConnell, Annie McConnell, Emily McConnell, Avery McConnell, Braylen Jackson, and Camden Cotton, great grandchildren Brendan, Kylie, Rayvin, Carson, Aubree and Sterling, former daughter in law Amy Patrick McConnell, and many friends and other family

Funeral services will be held on Friday October 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from from 1:00 Pm - 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
