Tod Kevin Orso, a lifelong resident of Mobile, was born on March 2, 1962 and passed away on Thursday, August 27th, at his home. Tod graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Computer Science. After a successful career in IT, he retired from Mentor Graphics in 2014.
Tod was a man of Faith who loved the Lord. He enjoyed spending time on Mobile Bay, pushing his great nieces and nephews on the swingset, talking over coffee, boating, nature, and the outdoors. He also loved watching Alabama football games. Most of all, he enjoyed doing these things with his family.
Tod was preceded in death by his parents Malvin Eugene Orso and Odessa Hansen Orso. He is survived by his brother, Stephen Orso, his sister, Susan Orso Stephens (Johnny), niece Cyndy Orso Baggett (Jason), nephew Philip Stephens, nephew Jeremy Stephens (Natalie), niece Bria Orso Bray (Brad), niece Kelly Stephens Baggett (Mason), nephew Braxton Orso, nephew Jordan Orso, niece Ryleigh Orso, nephew Braydon Orso, and many great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome to join us for a graveside service, honoring Tod’s life, at Mobile Memorial Gardens, Tuesday, September 8th at 10 a.m.
