Vincent Ray Bartlett, son of Daniel and Jeanell Bartlett, left this earth at the age of 66 on January 26th, 2024, and entered Heaven. He is now at his eternal resting place in the presence of God after a 4-1/2 year battle with cancer. Vince was born in Mobile, AL, on June 25, 1957. He married Patricia Ellen Bartlett and fathered 3 sons during their 15-year marriage - Aaron, Zachary, and Nathaniel. Vince has two older brothers, Tyrone Stephen Bartlett and Anthony Lee Bartlett and one younger sister, Tanya Lynn Hudspeth. Vince will leave behind many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Vince attended grammar school at Old Shell Road for grades 1-4 and WC Griggs Elementary for 5th and 6th grade where he was a school crossing guard. He then attended Theodore High School from 7th-12th grade with Key Club membership and as editor of the school newspaper "The Paw Print" - graduating in May of 1975. Vince later attended Southwest State Technical School for studies in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration before transferring to the University of Mobile to graduate with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Sociology and Religion in May of 1985.
Vince gave his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 13 and tried to be a worthy son to God. Vince was a member of Cypress Shores Baptist Church growing up and later joined Cottage Hill Baptist Church in the 1970's. He was a business man developing his own advertising company Ideas In Motion Specialty Advertising, Inc. which he solely owned and operated for 31 years. He always put others first and tried to please his peers by being a man sharing his faith in Christ. He joined the Mobile Civitan Club and served on the Board of Directors.
Vince was known for his strong sense of self. He was very confident in his beliefs and never shied away from conversation. He cared deeply for his family, especially his 3 sons. Vince will be remembered for his friendship, diligence and work-ethic, and faith in God. He was loved and cherished by his entire family.

Vince's funeral services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 10:00 am with a visitation at 9:00 am on the same grounds. His remains will be kept at Mobile Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Crypt #17.
