Willia Jean Tagert passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, at her daughter's residence where she lived until the day the angels carried her home. Willia Jean was born on September 27,1932 to Jim H and Ada Belle Brantley Reynolds in Uriah, Alabama. She was raised in Mobile, Alabama where she later married. Willia Jean graduated high school and went on to become a certified nursing assistant at Providence Hospital where she later retired.
She is survived by her 3 devoted daughters, Sheila (Ronnie) Brown, Gloria Tolbert (Roger), and Jan Offutt
She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Mr. William Martin Gollott, her only son, WIlliam Anthony (Tony) Gollott, her mother, Ada Belle Reynolds, her father, Jim H. Reynolds, one brother, 3 sisters, as well as 2 son-in-laws, Pete Tolbert and Gene Offutt.
In addition to Willia Jean's 3 beloved daughters, she leaves 3 sisters, (Jimmie Nell Tillman, Marcia Kelly, and Charlotte Lowery), 9 grandkids, 26 great grandkids, 17 great great grandkids as well as numerous relatives and loved ones who will now carry on her memory and keep her legacy alive.
There will be a graveside service and interment at Mobile Memorial Gardens at 2 o'clock p.m. on October 23, 2024.
