William Estabrook, Jr., affectionately known as Bill, passed away on November 18, 2023, in Mobile, AL. He was born on October 21, 1951, in Vincennes, Indiana. Bill's giving heart, great morals, amazing teaching skills, and fantastic sense of humor made him a beloved individual who touched the lives of many.
Bill's selflessness knew no bounds. Regardless of the time or circumstance, if he was needed, he would always show up without hesitation. He tirelessly devoted himself to caring for his family and friends with unwavering dedication. Often prioritizing their needs above his own, he would go above and beyond to ensure their well-being.
Throughout his military career, he received numerous medals and special honors that recognized his exceptional service. After proudly serving in the US Army for 21 years, as a Truckmaster in the Transportation Battalion, he retired, adorning the rank of SFC (Sergeant First Class).
Apart from his military duties, Bill had a passion for fixing things. He possessed an innate ability to repair anything that was broken—an invaluable skill that brought joy and relief to those around him.
Bill will forever be remembered for his loving role as a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. He shared 33 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife Lois R. Estabrook. Together they built a strong foundation of love and support that served as an inspiration to all who knew them.
Bill leaves behind a large and loving family who will cherish his memory eternally. His siblings include Teresa (Jack) Smith, Charlotte Rivenbark, Kathileen Senseney, Brenda Estabrook, Robin (Jeff) Sodwedel, Tom (Tracie) Estabrook, Betty Jean (David) Stanczak, Steve (Suzie) Estabrook, Ruthie Clinkenbeard, and his sister-in-law Diane Sullivan. The passing of Bill was preceded by the loss of his beloved grandfather, Emmit Otto Estabrook, grandmother Lois G. Estabrook, father William L. Estabrook Sr., mother Vesta Gilchrist, and son James A. Estabrook.
Bill's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his children: David A. Baker, Davida D. Walker, Jeffery (Ladana) Shaw, Jackie (Roy) Ward, Paul Estabrook, Tray Estabrook, Carol, and Christopher. Additionally, he adored his 30 grandchildren and cherished his 4 great-grandchildren.
Bill's loss leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all those fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that he made a profound impact on the lives he touched and left behind a legacy of selflessness and kindness for future generations to emulate.

To honor and celebrate the life of this extraordinary individual who brought undeniable joy to the lives of others, memorial services will be held on November 25, 2023. The ceremony will take place at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home located at 6040 Three Notch Road in Mobile, AL. The service will commence at 11:00 AM with an additional funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM.
