He's also survived by his two loving daughter's Sandra Ellisor Pesta "Lisa" (Norman), and Blakely Ellisor Cooperman. He's also survived by his two devoted stepsons he raised and loved dearly Gene Edward Hastings (Christi) and Martin Frederick Hastings (Malissa Lopez) and his Grand-daughter Laura Blakely Cooperman. He's survived by his brother Legrand Ellisor (Susan); his sisters Rebecca Nash (John); and Fran Lancaster and many nieces and nephews he loved dearly. Preceded him in death was his Father Thomas Ellisor Sr. "Big Daddy"; his beloved mother Elizabeth Ellisor "Mamie"; his brothers Thomas Ellisor Jr. (Ella Dean); Reynolds Ellisor; David Francis Ellisor; and Charlie Ellisor. William served in the Army National Guard and received Honorary Discharge on June 1, 1964. Bill was a successful banker in his career. He started at Southeast Bank in the Trust department. Went on to work for Florida National Bank of St. Petersburg, FL for many years and became Vice President of that bank. He went through several bank mergers including First Union, Wachovia, and Wells Fargo. His banking journey eventually transferred him to Jacksonville in 1983. He was highly successful in his career and well respected. Once Bill retired, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and family in his RV's. He loved the mountains and enjoyed sharing it with anyone that wanted to go. He also loved summer vacations when the kids (his children, granddaughter, nieces, and nephews) were young and would take them on a traveling adventure. His favorite was to stop at the "war memorials". His other favorite pastime was his love of woodworking. He was very talented at making/carving ducks, small furniture and at one time had his own woodworking shop in his home. He always helped out for a wood project in his church if they needed something special. Bill was an animal lover especially of cats. He had two of whom will miss him very much. Bill was a man of God and was loved by many and will truly be missed. He's home with Jesus now. The family finds comfort in that.
