William Edward Lewis- a 91 year-old native of Indianapolis, Indiana and longtime resident of Saraland, Alabama passed away at his home on Monday, August 9, 2021. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from ALCOA as a millwright after 35 years of service.
Mr. Lewis was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Melba Bernice Lewis, and grandson, Robby Sones. He is survived by his three daughters, Patty Moseley, Cindy Sones (Robert), and Judy Lewis; five grandchildren, Anthony Moseley, Brandon Moseley (Sara), Steven James (Amy Jo), Malinda Ward (Adam), and Josh Odom (Jessie); seven grandchildren, Garrett, Gavin, Karleigh, Justin, Austin, Natalie, and Sarah; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and interment will be held in Mobile Memorial Gardens on Three Notch Road on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 10 a.m.
