Bill age 68 of Theodore, AL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday August 14, 2022. He became a Christian as a child while the family was stationed in Michigan and has been a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church for over fifty years. He is survived by his son William Edward & wife Jessica Nicole Bain, and their children Charles Carter Bain and Emily Rose Bain, his daughter Jennifer Ann & husband Johnathan Tyler Carney and their children Madison Ann Carney & Chelsea Marie Carney, and sister Donna Bain & husband Jeffrey Leon Smith, niece Rebecca Lynn Smith and nephew Zachary Taylor Smith. Bill was preceded in death by his father Major LeRoy Edward Bain and his mother Jenette Stubbs Bain. Bill graduated from Davidson High School in 1972, attended trade school and the school of hard knocks with Dewey Miller in his machine shop. He later formed Mr Bill's automotive, building high performance engines for over a decade. He retired from Continental Aerospace Technologies after sixteen and a half years as an inside machinist. He was an active member of the Automotive Community in Mobile, AL throughout his lifetime. He was involved with Mobile Dragway, Mobile International Speedway and Deep South Speedway. He imparted his love of racing to his two children who still enjoy the sport today.

Visitation will be at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday August 20, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm service time. Internment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
