William Franklin Sunday, age 77, of Myakka City, Florida passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019. William was born October 6, 1941 in Frostproof, Florida to Rufus and Irene Sunday.
He was a graduate of Auburn University. He worked as an electrical engineer and enjoyed gardening, beekeeping, was a bird enthusiast, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda; three children, Jesse Sunday (Beth), Sandra Duran (Sammy), and Jacquelyn Fite (Dylan); and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Zane Sunday, Wilma Clark, and Vivian Wilson.
A visitation for Billy will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A funeral service will occur Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36619.
