Condolences For
"Arva South"

  1. Don and family, we were all sad to hear the news of Arva passing and wish the family our prayers. We take comfort in knowing that she lived a long and wonderful life with you and the kids, grandkids, and great grandchildren. She was always so nice to me every time we got together at family reunions and special events like weddings. She always asked about my mom and dad, and my family! She made us laugh with her stories, and kept us full with the great meals when we came to visit during the holidays. She will truly be missed by the entire family.

God bless, Gary, David, Patti, and Jennifer Nelson

  2. Don and family,

Sorry to be slow in sending our condolences. Were travelling out of country for a couple of weeks and didn't see this until recently.

So sorry to hear of Arva Jo's passing. I have very fond memories of Arva Jo when we were growing up as cousins in Mobile, and of course later after her marriage to Don. I recall visiting with Rubye and Carl Miller at their home and recall thinking how nice it was that Don was always by to cut their lawn in their later years and Arva Jo to check on them and help as needed. I also recall all your children, particularly Barry and Ramona.

Arva Jo was always an upbeat fun person to be around, and just regret we didn't stay in touch as much in her later years. Missed her and your family at last few Miller reunions, but hope to see your family there next year if that works out.

Don, please be aware that Nancy and I have you and your family in our hearts and prayers.

Joe & Nancy ("Joe Ray" to most of my cousins)
