Bertie 'Kay' Pritchard, age 67, passed away on September 26, 2021, at Thomas Hospital. She was born June 30, 1954, in Citronelle, AL to Jack and Bessie Hopkins. She was a graduate of Citronelle High School. She went on to work at Scott Paper Company and retired from Kimberly-Clark after 35 years. She loved her family and Alabama Football.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jack and Bessie Hopkins, and sister Pauline Everett.
She is survived by her daughter, Alisha George (Daniel); grandchildren, Isabel 'Grace' George, and Daniel George Jr. ; siblings, Lucy ' Lois' Hopkins, Betty Hopkins (Butch), Joel Thomas (JT) Byrd, Ronnie Hopkins, Kathryn Morgan, Fannie Weaver (George), as well as nieces and nephews, Daniel Christopher (DC) Weaver (Donna), Jo Anna Weaver Grimes, Rhonda Frost (Iain), Charles 'Chuck' Hopkins (Regina), Scott Hopkins (Retha), Tony Byrd (Cathy), Brandi Posey (Barry), Christine Lofton (William), Rebecca Everett, and Hope Byrd.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on September 30, 2021, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, located at 6040 Three Notch Road. Visitation will be held at 11:00 am and the service will begin at 12:00 pm in the Chapel.
