Betty Wallace Magee – an 88 year-old native of Needham, AL and resident of Chickasaw, AL passed away at her home on Monday, January 27, 2020. Mrs. Magee was the former owner and operator of Betty’s Beauty Shop. She was a longtime member of Redemption Church in Saraland, AL. She was an outstanding southern cook, second to none. Mrs. Magee loved to travel, especially to the beach and the mountains. Her favorite activity was spending time with her family at her home. Mrs. Magee was preceded in death by her parents, Annis and Minnie Jenkins Rackley; first husband, William Paul Wallace, Sr.; second husband, Kenneth Magee; and son, Daniel Charles Wallace. She is survived by three sons, Ronald P. Wallace (Joyce), Timothy F. Wallace (Dixie), and William P. Wallace, Jr. (Jerri); grandchildren, Tonya Wallace Booker (Kevin), Brenda W. Hammer (Hugh), India Elizabeth Wallace, Danielle Alys Wallace Chestang (Chris), Bailey Nichole Wallace, Kaitlyn Boshell Knowles (Kaleb), and William Tyler Boshell (Hailey); great-grandchildren, Abigail Booker, Austin Booker, Alex Hammer, Samantha Hammer, Christian Paul Chestang, Anniston Kate Knowles, and Brayden M. Boshell; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, January 31, 2020, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 2pm on Friday, 01/31/2020 from Radney's Funeral Home on Dauphin Street, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
