Born on October 29, 1936, Billie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who lived a life full of love and service to others. Billie was a proud graduate of Vigor High School, where she was part of one of the first graduating classes. She maintained a lifelong love of learning and was a voracious reader, particularly of mystery novels. Her involvement with the Chickasaw Methodist Church brought her immense joy, where she contributed actively and formed lasting relationships. A fixture in the community, Billie loved ringing the bell for the Salvation Army during the Christmas season and found great fulfillment in supporting this important cause. Billie cherished spending time with her family, especially attending the sporting events of her children and grandchildren. She was an avid college sports fan and loved the Crimson Tide. She also found joy in visiting the beautiful white beaches of the Gulf Coast and looked forward to holidays spent with family and friends, always making them special with her warmth and presence. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Claude Harlon Schrimpshire Sr.; her father, Bill Dunn; mother, Leona Dunn; and sisters, Casteva Corley and Geneva Myers.   Billie is survived by her loving children: Claude Harlon Schrimpshire Jr. (Leslie), Lee Schrimpshire Tettleton (Tony), and Mark Dewain Schrimpshire (Lisa); her cherished grandchildren Olivia Tettleton, Kyle Tettleton, Becky Todd Skanes (Jerriet), Stephanie Todd Eubanks (Kenny), Alex Schrimpshire, and Jack Schrimpshire; and her 15 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Becky Todd Skanes (Jerriet) for their loving care and support. Billie's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
