Dorothy Duncan Hamner
1948-2019
A native and resident of Mobile, AL died on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the age of 70. Mrs. Hamner had 20 years of service with Morrison’s Corp as a financial secretary. She was also financial secretary at Snow Road First Baptist Church for 27 years. She enjoyed cooking and always enjoyed ladies night out with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Janice and Morris Duncan; daughter, Juanita Hamner. She is survived by her husband, David Hamner; son, Randy Hamner; daughter, Regina Carol Hamner; three brothers, Tommy Duncan, Terry Duncan and Timmy (Vikki) Duncan; grandchildren, Ryan and Brooke Hamner. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation will beginning at 8:30 AM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 10am on Friday, 06/07/2019 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.

I remember Mrs. Hamner from when I attended "Gulf Hills Baptist Church" as a a young girl/teenager. She was a precious woman of God and I was saddened to see she had left this ole world for glory. Heaven continues to grow sweeter and sweeter. What a reunion day that will be........
