I grew up with Sarge as I visited my Grandmother in Chickasaw, Al. He lived across the street. I raked leaves ( pine straw) with him and his Mom on their beautiful lawn. Even grew a few Blisters. I had a crush on his sister Connie when I was about 12 or 13 Ha Ha. His Mom was the sweetest! Since Sarge was a bit older than me, I looked up to him like a big brother. I did not know his connection to Smyrna, Tenn. I didn't know as I lived in Murfreesboro for 9 years in the 80's. Small World! They lived next door to the BITTLES and we all played together.
