John A. Nelson, Sr., a native and resident of Mobile, AL died on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 att the age of 80. Mr. Nelson was retired from the State Highway Department of Alabama (ALDOT). He was preceded in death by his parents, Mollie and Claude A. Nelson; wife, Mary Ann Nelson; sister, Jackie Christian. He is survived by his children, John A. (Barbara) Nelson, Jr, Teresa A. Mosner and Mollie D. Nelson; brother, Buddy Nelson; five grandchildren, Eric M. Nelson, Traci D. Nelson, Kellie M. Mosner, Dustin C. Mosner and Angel L. Nelson; two great grandchildren, Zachary D. Nelson and Hannah M. Nelson. Graveside services and interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.
