If I had to describe Larry in one word that would be "GIVER" I came to the USA in 1981, knowing just a few words in English. Larry and Linda were members of the First Baptist Church of Wilmer. The church helped with all the legal documentation for me to come and arranged with several families for me to stay with as I got ready to move on to the Seminary. Larry decided that it would be too much for me to be moving from house to house. So I stayed with Larry and Linda. Larry helped me with English homework every single day. He helped me to understand English expressions.He drove me to Mobile College for my first evening class and talked to the professor about me not knowing much English. He treated me like one of his own. I will be eternally grateful for his generosity, his care, and godly character. See you in heaven Larry. I know you are enjoying the presence of Jesus!!!!
