Mrs. Letha Frances Newman, a native of Four Oaks, N.C., longtime resident of Irvington, AL died in Florala, AL at her daughters home on Friday, January 31, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Newman, two children, David Posey and Diane Whitaker. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Salzmann; one brother, Roy Johnson; three sisters, Evelyn Register, Sandra Sherrill and Wilma Jean Norris; three grandchildren, Stephenie Roberts, Lauren Shoemaker and Alicia Whitaker; two great grandchildren, William and Benjamin Shoemaker and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 10am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 9am. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A chapel service will be held at 10am on Thursday, 02/06/2020 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
